“even when I’m leading [tck club] I’m learning so much about myself!”
TCK Club is led by adult and young adult leaders like you. The weekly, online meetings provide third culture kids ages 6-16 with access to consistent debrief and ongoing friendships, all through fun, creative, and practical tools for a global life. This is awesome for literally everyone involved.
You Could be a good fit for the TCK Club team if:
You’re a TCK (must be 16 or older)
You’re not a TCK but value cross-cultural communication and learning
You want to work with TCKs but don’t know where to start
You’re familiar with Zoom and feel comfortable being goofy on video
You like getting out of your comfort zone
You work better with a partner than alone (for child safety every TCK Club has two leaders. No exceptions.)
You are excited to learn new things
We’re looking for tck camp counselors!
Join us July 30-31, 2024, to help lead games and crafts during our virtual deep sea-themed TCK camp!
Okay, I need some more information.

Q: Can I apply if I’m not 100% sure I want to do this?
A: Sure! If you’re offered a spot as an online TCK Club leader, the final step is to sign your Kaleider Kontract. Once you sign the Kaleider Kontract, we’re counting on you and you’ll start training and meet your co-Kaleiders. Before you sign the Kontract, you are free to change your mind!
Q: WHAT IS THE TIME COMMITMENT for tck club?
A: For TCK 101, the time commitment is about 8 hours over 6 weeks. About an hour of preparation and training before the session, 1 hour call each week, and about an hour of debriefing to wrap up the session. If you’re leading a themed TCK Club the time required will depend on how much time it takes to prepare for each week, we’re guessing 16-24 hours total over 6 weeks.
Q: Can I apply if I’m not a third culture kid?
A: Yes please!! We love our non-TCKs as much as (it not more than...shh, don’t tell!) our TCK Kaleiders. As someone who’s grown up in your passport country, you have the opportunity to show TCKs that even people who don’t share their background can love, accept, and connect with them. And you’ll have no problems teaching all of the curriculum, so don’t worry about that!
Q: What if I’ve never worked with kids before?!
A: First of all, we recommend you start by volunteering to co-lead a TCK 101 Club. Then, once you’re accepted you’ll get access to the Leaders Lounge at TCKclub.org where you’ll find all the training videos, lesson plans, and lots of great information and resources about TCKs and the TCK 101 curriculum. We’ve got you covered and we’ll walk through every step with you.
Q: Do i have to reapply if I’ve already been a Kaleider?
A: Short answer: yes. Long answer: we have a shortened Returning Kaleider Application to update your relevant info, and you may or may not need to interview again. Someone you know from the KLDSCP team will be in touch!
